Mother's Day !
May 14th 2017
We are so very blessed to live in a time of emails, cellphones, Skype and videos. Our family was able to chat with Jason for about 30 minutes on Mother's Day! It was the best gift ever!

Texas Roundup !
Monday, May 22, was a very busy day for the MTC missionaries headed to serve in the Lubbock Texas Mission. They were up at 2am, at the airport by 5am, flight to Denver at 7 am, Denver to Lubbock by noon and then a full day of orientation !
We did get to talk with Jason while he was at the airport. Both SLC and them a brief chat in Denver. It was awesome! Jason sounded great and upbeat- he was glad to be on his way to Texas. He's one neat young man!
The couple in front are Mission President Brother Heap and his sweet wife. (Cute they are holding hands. 💕)

In The Last Days
Elder Jason leaves for Texas on Monday the Provo Temple is in the background, just across the street from the MTC. The missionaries often had a chance to attend the temple on their "P-Day".

First Mission Companion
Elder Lewis (on the right- tall) is Jason's first missionary companion. I think Elder Lewis has a great sense of humor! As Jason was making a funny Australian accented, "Suvivors" spoof video, we heard a small, weak, "...help..." in the background from his companion. They seem to be able to balance Spanish lessons and a little bit of fun, in the busy MTC life together. Very proud of these hardworking young men and women. Jason is a district leader at the MTC and is ready to start the Lord's work in Lubbock! See y'all ✈

In The Zone
This is a picture of Elder Jason's Zone at the MTC. This was taken outside the Provo Temple. What a great looking group!
Friends at the MTC
Elder Graf in a picture with Sister Benson.
We saw her the day we dropped Jason off at the MTC. They are next door neighbors, well - just around the corner. Her twin brother is also serving a mission at this time. It's awesome to see a smiling friendly and familiar face at the MTC. I am so excited for these young men and women!

Lubbock Texas
I guess Jason, errrr.. Elder Graf does know where he is heading in just a couple of weeks. He says he is doing well and the spanish is coming along. Today was a great day to email a bit and catchup on the week. He has met a few of his friends from down here in St. George at the MTC - I will post more pictures.
